Pay with Visa, Mastercard, or other major cards. Booking direct on our website saves you 50% on cleaning fees compared to Booking.com or Airbnb.</p>

Why we collect this data<br />We use your data to: process and confirm your booking, send check-in instructions and travel information, comply with Norwegian tax and accounting law (bokf&oslash;ringsloven requires us to keep transaction records for 5 years), respond to inquiries, and send marketing emails &mdash; only if you have explicitly opted in to our newsletter.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">4. Legal basis<br />Booking processing: contractual necessity (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Tax and accounting records: legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)). Newsletter: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) &mdash; you can withdraw consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe.</p>

Who we share data with<br />We share your data only with: our booking system provider (Guesty), our payment processor, our cleaning partners (only your name and dates &mdash; not contact details), Norwegian tax authorities (Skatteetaten) when legally required, and from 1 January 2026 the Norwegian DPI reporting regime if applicable. We never sell your data to third parties.</p>

Your rights<br />Under GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (where legally permitted), restrict processing, port your data to another provider, and withdraw consent. <p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">1. General<br />These terms apply to all bookings of accommodation made through evenesapartments.com and booking.evenesapartments.com. By placing a booking, you accept these terms in full. The terms, together with your booking confirmation, form the complete agreement between you and Evenes Apartments AS.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">2. Definition of parties<br />The host is: Evenes Apartments AS, hereafter referred to as "we", "us", or "Evenes Apartments". The guest is: the person named in the booking, hereafter referred to as "you" or "the guest". The accommodation is: the apartment, cabin, or property booked through our website.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">3. Payment, deposits, and prices<br />Payment is made online with Visa, Mastercard, or other major payment methods through our secure payment provider. The full amount is charged at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. All prices are shown in NOK and include VAT (MVA) where applicable. A cleaning fee is added separately at checkout &mdash; direct bookings receive a 50% discount on the standard cleaning fee.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">4. Booking and confirmation<br />Your booking is confirmed by email immediately after payment. The confirmation email constitutes a binding agreement between you and Evenes Apartments. Please review the details carefully and contact us within 24 hours if anything is incorrect.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">5. Check-in and check-out<br />Standard check-in is from 15:00. Standard check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by prior arrangement, subject to availability and a possible fee. We use smart-lock self check-in for all properties &mdash; your access code will be sent 24 hours before arrival.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">6. Cancellation policy<br />Cancellations made 14 or more days before check-in: full refund.&nbsp; Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in: no refund. No-shows are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">7. House rules<br />No smoking inside any property. Pets are not allowed unless explicitly agreed in writing before booking. Maximum number of guests must not exceed the number stated in your booking. Quiet hours are 23:00&ndash;07:00 out of respect for neighbours. Parties and events are not permitted.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">8. Damage and liability<br />You are responsible for any damage to the property, furniture, or equipment caused by you or your party during your stay. Minor wear and tear is not charged. Significant damage will be invoiced to you after departure. We recommend that you have your own travel insurance.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">9. Force majeure<br />Neither party is liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, pandemics, or extreme weather affecting accessibility.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">10. Privacy and data<br />We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven) and GDPR.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">11. Disputes<br />Any disputes shall first be attempted resolved amicably. If not resolved, the dispute shall be settled under Norwegian law in the appropriate Norwegian court &mdash; Forliksr&aring;det i Harstad as first instance.</p>
